Does AI recommend real estate agents in London?

ChatGPT and Gemini · 12 answers · as of 10 September 2026

More and more clients skip the search results and simply ask an AI assistant to recommend a real estate agent. When someone in London does that, the assistant doesn't hand back ten blue links, it replies with a short list of names. If you run a real estate agent in London, being on that list is the whole game.

So we asked ChatGPT and Gemini the questions clients actually use, 12 answers in all, and recorded every business named and every source leaned on. Together they named 19 real estate agents. Here are the ones recommended most, how the two assistants differ, the sources shaping their answers, and what it takes to be one of them.

The real estate agents AI recommends most in London

Ranked by how many of our 12 answers named each business, across ChatGPT and Gemini. AI answers shift over time, so treat this as a snapshot, not a fixed ranking.

Across 12 answers, ChatGPT and Gemini named 19 different real estate agents in London. Dexters came up most often, in 5 of 12 answers, followed by Knight Frank, King’s Cross and Chestertons. 10 real estate agents appeared in more than one answer, which means the assistants keep returning to a recognisable short list rather than picking a different business every time. Breaking into that list is the goal. Beyond the names above, 9 other real estate agents were mentioned once or twice across the answers. That long tail is what an assistant reaches into when it varies its reply, so being in it is the first foothold, and being named consistently is the goal after that.

ChatGPT vs Gemini: they rarely agree

We asked ChatGPT and Gemini the same questions. They agreed on one business (Dexters), but otherwise named different names. Being recommended by one assistant is no guarantee of the other, so it pays to check both.

What ChatGPT actually said

Asked “Who is the best real estate agent in Chelsea for buying a first home?”, here is how ChatGPT opened its answer, in its own words:

Which **Chelsea** do you mean—**Chelsea, Manhattan (NYC)**, Chelsea, Massachusetts, Chelsea, Alabama, or somewhere else? If you mean **Chelsea, Manhattan**, I wouldn’t crown one universal “best” agent without knowing your budget and whether you’re targeting a **co-op, condo, or townhouse**. For a first purchase there, prioritize a *buyer’s agent* with recent transactions in your price range and direct experience guiding first-time buyers through co-op board packages, financing contingencies, inspections, and attorney coordination. A reasonable person to interview is **Mick at the Skyline Advisory Team**: recent buyer reviews specifically mention Chelsea purchases and first-time-buyer guida…

Where AI gets its answers

ChatGPT and Gemini's answers don't come from nowhere. They leaned most on rightmove.co.uk, cited in 5 of 12 answers, alongside mylondonhome.com and cluttons.com. These are the directories and review sites that quietly decide which real estate agents in London an assistant will name. If your business isn't listed there, or isn't well reviewed there, you simply aren't part of the answer.

Look at what those sources are, not just their names, and a pattern shows up. For real estate agents in London, ChatGPT and Gemini leaned mostly on other business pages such as rightmove.co.uk and mylondonhome.com. That particular mix is specific to this market: the sites that decide who gets named here are not the same ones that matter in another city. Getting onto the ones that carry the most weight, and being well reviewed there, is what moves a business into the answer.

Common questions

Does AI recommend specific real estate agents in London?
Yes. When clients ask for a real estate agent in London, ChatGPT and Gemini name real businesses rather than staying general. Across our 12 test answers they named 19 different real estate agents, returning to a smaller group most often. Which ones they name shifts over time as their sources change.
How does AI decide which real estate agents to recommend?
It pulls from pages it can find and trust, mostly directories, review sites and clear business pages, then synthesises a short list. For real estate agents in London the sources used most were rightmove.co.uk, mylondonhome.com, cluttons.com. Being present and well reviewed on those is what earns a mention.
How can my real estate agent show up in AI answers?
Get listed and well reviewed on the sources AI already trusts (starting with rightmove.co.uk), and publish clear, quotable pages about what you do and who you serve. There's no paid placement, it reflects what the open web says about you. Peekl runs a full check on your business and turns it into a ranked plan of fixes.
Do ChatGPT and Gemini recommend the same real estate agents?
Not really. For real estate agents in London they overlapped on 1 of the names above, and often name a different set entirely. Being recommended by one is no guarantee of the other, which is why it pays to check every assistant your customers use. Peekl's full check runs ChatGPT, Gemini and Claude so you see the complete picture.
